IIRS – ISRO Nodal Centre
The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India, is a leading training and educational institute dedicated to developing skilled professionals in the fields of Remote Sensing, Geo-informatics, and GPS Technology. The institute focuses on applications related to Natural Resources, Environmental Management, and Disaster Management.
Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Commerce (MMCC), located in Deccan Gymkhana, Pune, Maharashtra, has partnered with IIRS as one of its nodal centers in Maharashtra. Since July 2021, this collaboration has aimed to conduct Outreach Programs on Geospatial Tools, empowering students and enhancing their credibility. Through this partnership, both students and staff members at MMCCC have gained access to the benefits of IIRS Outreach Programs, contributing to their knowledge and professional development.
