The Department of Business Administration has organised “Extension Activity of Nirmalya Collection and Compost creation” for the Academic year 2023-24 for the students of SYBBA and SABBA-IB. The students had collected “Nirmalya” (the leftover that contains stale flowers and other remains, which were offered to the deity earlier) from religious places, festivals and their respective homes which are often discarded in rivers and other water bodies, causing environmental pollution. Total 243 Students of SYBBA and SYBBA-IB performed this activity as a compulsory activity for the award of 1 Extra Credit as per the norms of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). Students played a crucial role in preserving the environment and promoting responsible citizenship.
