About Department

The Department of Computer Science started in 2007 with the objective of catering to the growing demands of the dynamic IT industry and has seen success through growth and development of students into young professionals and entrepreneurs.
There are two academic programmes under this department:
1. BSc (Computer Science) with an intake of 160 students
2. BBA (Computer Application) with an intake of 160 students.

The Department offers various certification courses through IIRS-ISRO Nodal Center for skill development, conducts various value-added courses for industry orientation, organizes events for their holistic development and provides a platform for research orientation through participation in SPPU’s Avishkar Competition

Objectives:

1.To provide Computer education by developing logical and analytical skills so as to design and implement the solutions for real world problems.
2. To provide a platform for developing and showcasing curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to become confident professionals.
3. To develop problem-solving skills, think logically, identify and analyze a problem, design a solution as a systematic way of processing the necessary information to produce the required output, and implement the solution
4. To provide the right support, training,infrastructure and blended learning to enhance student engagement and prepare learners for the challenges of the future.
