About Department
The Department of Computer Science started in 2007 with the objective of catering to the growing demands of the dynamic IT industry and has seen success through growth and development of students into young professionals and entrepreneurs.
There are two academic programmes under this department:
1. BSc (Computer Science) with an intake of 160 students
2. BBA (Computer Application) with an intake of 160 students.

1.To provide Computer education by developing logical and analytical skills so as to design and implement the solutions for real world problems. 2. To provide a platform for developing and showcasing curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to become confident professionals. 3. To develop problem-solving skills, think logically, identify and analyze a problem, design a solution as a systematic way of processing the necessary information to produce the required output, and implement the solution 4. To provide the right support, training,infrastructure and blended learning to enhance student engagement and prepare learners for the challenges of the future.Faculty

Bachelor of Computer Science (B.Sc.(CS)) :-
The most crucial component of Computer Science is problem solving, which is a lifelong ability. Students learn how software is designed, developed, and analyzed to solve issues in a range of social, scientific and business contexts. We offer B.Sc.(CS) with a wide variety of courses including Data Analysis, App Development, Research, etc.Bachelor of Computer Application (BBA(CA)) :-
This program aims to shape computer professionals with the right moral and ethical values to face IT industry challenges. This program is a blend of Computer Studies and Computer Applications .Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc.(CS) :-
A candidate from Science stream, should have passed 12th Std. Examination (H.S.C.10+2) with minimum 40% of marks and Mathematics as a passing subjectEligibility Criteria for BBA(CA) :-
Examination (H.S.C.10+2) with minimum 40% of marks and English as a passing subject. OR Three Years Diploma Course from Board of Technical Education, conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent, after S.S.C. i.e. 10thStandard. OR Two Years Diploma Course in Pharmacy from Board of Technical Education, conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent, after H.S.C. i.e. 12th Standard. Program Outcome for B.Sc.(CS) 2024 (NEP Pattern)
- Develop creative skills, critical thinking, analytical skills and research to address the real world problems using computational skills
- Understand and apply mathematical foundation, computing and domain knowledge and develop computing models for defined problems
- Understand software project management and computing principles with computing knowledge to manage projects in multidisciplinary environments
- Illustrate the concepts of systems fundamentals, including architectures and organization, operating systems, networking and communication
- Understand and apply the concepts of Digital Electronics, Computer Architecture, IoT etc.
- Recognize the need for and develop the ability to engage in continuous learning as a Computing professional
- Apply modern computing tools, skills and techniques necessary for innovative software solutions
- Communicate effectively with the computing community as well as society by being able to comprehend effective documentations and presentations

Program Outcome for BBA(CA) 2024 (NEP Pattern)
- Graduates will demonstrate a thorough understanding and ability to apply core concepts in programming languages, database management systems, and software development.
- Graduates will be able to analyze business problems, develop efficient algorithms, andimplementsolutions using appropriate programming techniques.
- Graduates will effectively combine principles of commerce with modern IT practices to enhancebusiness processes and decision-making.
- Graduates will have practical experience in handling projects related to web development, mobileapplications, and digital marketing, with the capability to manage and execute projects efficiently.
